这是在新东方学到的单词记忆的方法。
市面上流行的背单词的方法很多,比如”词根词缀”、”联想记忆”、”谐音记忆”等,但是,从本质上说,这些方法适合”授课”,但是不适合”使用”,因此也不具备通用性。从记忆行为本身来看,”自然记忆”和”机械记忆”是两种主要的记忆方式。在日常生活中,人们的记忆行为通常表现为”自然记忆”,并且自然记忆的效果是非常好的。但是,在学习过程中,大多数人却不由自主地选择和使用了效果并不好的”机械记忆”(实际上很多人也不知道为什么要选择这种方式,只不过所有人都这样做,自己也就这样做了)。于是,上述流行的记忆方法应运而生,其目的是为了补充机械记忆的不足。
自然记忆并不是不可以实现的。考虑一下自然记忆的特点,无非是如下两点:一是自然记忆没有显性的记忆过程,也就是说,我们在记忆过程中不会专门做”背”这个动作,这一点显然和”背”单词的做法是相矛盾的。日常生活中很多例子可以体现自然记忆的这种特征。比如,我们记忆一个人的长相的时候,就从来没有专门”背”过;我们记住自己家住在什么地方的时候,也从来没有”背”过。二是自然记忆的结果不容易丧失。在我们所记住的东西中,凡是难以忘记的,几乎都是自然记忆的结果,比如小时候发生的若干事情,平时看过的电视剧情节,父母曾经跟我们说过的话等。相反,机械记忆的结果是很容易丢失的,比如我们经常忘记刻意记过的某条路怎么走,我们也经常忘记专门背诵的某些课文或者诗歌,无论它们是用中文写的还是英文写的。按照这样的特征,我们只需要在单词记忆过程中也尽量模拟非显性记忆过程就可以了。

英文书信结构要素
(1 )信头(Letterhead)。
信头包括发信人的地址和发信日期。很多人不太注意保留信封,在信内的打上发信人地址就方便收信人回信。如果使用已经印好信头的信纸,就只要打上发信日期。信头位于信的最上方,原则上首先按从小到大的顺序(正好与中文书信相反),门牌号码和街名或单位名占一行(太长可占两行),城镇名和邮政编码占一行,国名占一行。然后是发信日期,它是信头的最后一行,可以写成日月年(英式)也可写成月日年(美式),如:May8,1996或8May,1996. 必然说明的是,月份要写英文名称,否则有可能产生歧义,如5/8/1996,美国人会理解为1996年5 月8 日,而英国人则理解为1996年8 月5 日。
(2 )封内地址(Inside Address)。
封内地址包括收信人的姓名和地址。封内地址必须和信封地址一致,否则就是出了差错,收信人此时可将信退回或按封内地址转寄。封内地址的第一行是收信人姓名,第二行职务,从第三行开始写收信人地址,写出法原则上和写发信人地址一样。
(3 )称呼(Salutation)。
称呼应与亲近程度相吻合。最为正式的也是最不亲近的称呼为Dear Sir(英国用)或Dear Genteman (美国用),一般用于给政府机关、官员的公函中,或用于首次往来的商业书信中。比较熟识的人由应称他的姓,最随便也是最亲近的称呼是直呼其名,一般用于亲朋好友,但应注意,称姓时只称姓,不要又称名,而称名时 不要加Dr或Mr. 如某人全名为William.另外,如果对方为女性却不知应称Mrs.还是Miss时可称Ms. 。称呼后面的标点英国人习惯用逗号,而美国人习惯用冒号(亲朋好友之间可用逗号)。

元音
1.元音的定义和日语元音的特点
元音的一般定义是:声带振动,气流在口腔的通路上不受阻碍而发出的音。
虽然在发元音时气流在口腔的通路上不受阻碍,但口型(包括下颌的开度、唇形的园展)及舌位(包括舌的高低、前后位置)的细微变化都会使元音的音色发生微妙的改变。
与汉语拥有众多复合元音不同,日语的5个元音都是单元音。
单元音的特点是,发音时要求发音器官的位置(包括口型和舌位)要稳定,不能中途改变声道的形状。
在日语中,即使是两个元音相连时也是界限分明的。例如,汉语”爷爷”中的”爷”,由于口型和舌位由[i]向[e]滑动,使整个音节的音色发生渐变,因而[i]与[e]之间的分界是模糊的;而日语”いえ”中则相反,由[i]到[e]不是滑动的而是瞬变的。
此外,日语元音的稳定性还表现在:不论语音环境如何变化(即不管前面及后面出现什么音),元音自身的音色都没有显著的变化。例如,汉语”a”的音色在”an”"yan”"yang”的语音环境中音色是不同的,分别为前低元音、前半低元音和后低元音。日语的元音则在任何语音环境中都保持音色相对稳定,没有汉语这样显著的音色变化。
